Gospel of John – Chapter 1 VS 1-18

When the apostle John wrote this, he was an old man. Yet as we read it there is a freshness about it that gives the impression of being written as these events unfold. This is the kind of lasting impression Jesus made on John. But it’s deeper than that. I’ve known people all my life, some of them intimately, yet there are also many things that I’ve forgotten, even in my own marriage.
